                                      Microsoft Office 2013 -  Preview 

         I have been using Microsoft office 13 for a couple of days and I find the entire User interface design very pleasant to use. It has lots of new features added up and the most stunning feature is Office 365. It enables you to access your files from anywhere, Just upload your documents to the cloud storage and you are Done!  Apart from Laptops and PC’s Office 365 is going to support wide range of devices in its beta release. It provides more options like file sharing, commenting on the powerpoint slides that are shared, creating beautiful photo album presentations, adding effects for the selected photos, password protect certain places which needs authentication for viewing or editing and much more.

Online Editing

Just like we have a view option in Gmail, Outlook now provides an amazing feature which is editing the attached documents online! Yes gone are the days where we need to download the files to edit and upload them back again. Here “Files” refers to all Microsoft files including word documents, power point presentations, excel sheets etc.

APPS

            Yes this is something that can be used inside word documents in Office 15. There are lots of online apps available to be added in for free. These apps helps the users to enhance their work efficiency.

MERGINING WITH ACCOUNT

During the installation the users are required to sign in to their windows mail account[Hotmail/live]. This enables the merging of the user account with the system installation.

FEEDBACK

There is an option for the customers/users to provide feedback about the features. Since the users sign in during the installation phase the name and mail id are pre fetched for feedback.

OFFICE 2013 INSTALLATION

Office 2013 preview will be available for around 6 months. After that Beta version of it will be made available in the market. Good thing about the installation is that your current office installation will also be available and if you don’t like Office 2013 you can always switch back to your own office and open/edit files with it. Your office will be available even after uninstalling Office 2013.
