Our ancestors are truly amazing

Yes the title mean it !!

We think that we are technically so advanced, well educated, intelligent and innovative, but when I think of some facts and stories that our ancestors have left behind them it really makes me wonder how people can be so intelligent!! Here are few of the things which amazed me, hope it makes you wonder too!

Test tube baby – a miracle of modern science?? must be kidding

We all know that test tube baby is one of the most miraculous thing in medical science of the modern age!! And would you believe that this is just an age old thing that was found in India thousands of years back!?

No other go you have to believe it! It was mentioned in Our own Indian epic, a great Indian epic!! Any guess?? Yes you are right, its “Mahabharatham”!!  the story runs like this
“Gandhari the mother of gauravas gave birth to a lump of flesh, which made her feel depressed.

Vyasa then splitted that into 101 parts and laid them separately in a specially designed vessel filled with fluids like ghee and they eventually developed into hundred boys and a girl!!

Though its not exactly same as the modern process using the rennin and glass materials this is what they are calling as Ectopic pregnancy in the modern medicine!!

Flight – wright brothers?

One of the greatest inventions of the 20^th century!! This thing too to our amazement was there in our epics!! In “Ramayanam” Ravana used “Pushpaga vimanam” which is same as the aeroplane! In the detailed version we can even find the description of the structure of “pushpaga vimanam”, they have mentioned that it has wings and all that stuff!

Space science-NASA rocks??

Saturn exploration, samples from outer space and thousands of other rocking stuffs are being done by NASA. Though its really an extraordinary stuff to be done its just nothing when we see what our ancestors have done! Its really amazing to see someone predict everything that NASA is predicting now with thousands of equipments without any equipment!

Like they didn’t have any kind of equipments like ultra modern telescope, rockets, space exploring robos and not even a camera!! But they have correctly identified that there are nine planets! Its even more amazing when we see those “navagrahas” in temples!! If you watch them closely the color of the cloth that each one has is Same as the color of the planet!!!!

Lots of other things like building bridge across an ocean, evolution of men from animals(Ramayanam), power of yoga, power of our thoughts and so many things that are hot discussion topic in our current age were already explained in our own Indian epics!!

Who knows, even the concept of bringing back dead people to life may be invented after thousands of years and that may be the best invention of mankind! But remember, even that has its origin in “Mahabharatham”!!
